Burgers & Cocktails
Sunday seems to be the day for burgers, although as I mentioned before in the post of Meat Liquor, burgers has been a big thing in London for the last couple of years - if not longer. If you head around James St and St Christopher's Place, there are a multitude of restaurants, some better than others, but they all have at least one good thing - I leave you to decide what it is.
This time is for Burger & Cocktail, a place that has changed its name a few times in the last few years. I really liked the deco of the place, and I was thrilled with the music. Also, I managed to sit in a table by the window so I could enjoy a little breeze and to observe the people sitting and walking around.
The menu holds a big list of burgers, with some choices quite different from what you could be used to - I kept it to the classic cheese and bacon, although this one also had mushrooms so it was even better. You can make your own burger as well with the toppings that you like, and you can have beef, chicken or turkey. There is a vegetarian option as well. The chips were good although the slow had way too much mayo.
Maybe it's not the best burger in town but the place is cool, the staff really friendly and the music really good, so we had an amazing Sunday afternoon.
